Who is Guru?
One simple idea: talking about money shouldn't be this hard.
Hi! I'm Guru — the mascot and the voice of My Investor Guru. Behind me is a small team from a finance background who noticed one thing: in India, money is either explained in heavy English jargon or sold as "tips". Nobody writes for the person in the middle — the one who just got their first salary, or wants to start a SIP with ₹500.
What we do
- Free tools. SIP calculator, FD vs SIP comparison, EMI, tax saver, salary planner — all free, no login.
- Beginner guides in plain English. With the real charges and screenshots of the apps we actually use.
- Straight talk. We explain what "expense ratio" means before we use it.
What we don't do
- Stock tips or "buy this fund" advice. We are not SEBI-registered advisors.
- Promise guaranteed returns. Nothing in the market is guaranteed — anyone who says otherwise is lying.
- Sell your data. No newsletter spam, no calls.
How is the site free?

Founder
Comes from a finance background and is the founder of GrowthSparx, which helps businesses with growth, marketing and systems. My Investor Guru is his side project: giving beginners, in simple language, the things that took him years to learn.
